Dawn Southern is the Qualifying Broker for S & S Homes Realty in Georgia, Alabama and Florida and owner of S & S Homes Homes Realty West in Georgia, Alabama, soon to be in Florida too. She is the Owner and Director of West Georgia Real Estate Academy.  Dawn obtained her Real Estate license in February of 2007.  She spent 5 very successful years selling homes and excelling in New Construction Sales before she was promoted to Compliance Broker, overseeing all of the brokerage compliance and managing a branch office.  In 2021, she stepped up as Managing Broker and was quickly promoted to Qualifying Broker in 2022.  Her desire being to build a superior brokerage that fosters professionalism and agent support, Dawn opened her own brokerage, S & S Homes Realty, in 2023.  When she is not leading her Accountability Group, Mentoring, Coaching, teaching, or reviewing contracts along with all of the other fun stuff Brokers do, Dawn enjoys baking, spending time outside, gardening, fishing, spending time with her babies and hanging out with her husband Tommy. She was born and raised in Paulding County and has called Haralson County home for the past 6 years. Dawn is the mother of 4 sons, 1 bonus son, 1 bonus daughter and 2 amazing daughter-in-laws.  Her favorite thing is being Grammy D to her 6 granddaughters and 1 Angel grandson.  Her motto is "Family First!"  She loves supporting her community and leads her brokerage in monthly community outreach projects. Dawn is also the President of a non-profit organization, AGL Over The Rainbow Foundation, which gives Scholarships to high school seniors going into college for Fine and Performing Arts.
